Tokanta (“we”, “us”) is building a new way to discover and learn about alternative assets. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use tokanta.com and our apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details. Your email address, and the name and profile picture your sign-in provider shares with us if you choose Google, Apple or Microsoft.
- Sign-in and security data. One-time codes, session tokens and basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type, used to keep your account secure.
- Activity in the product. Choices you make inside Tokanta, such as simulated investments and saved items.
- Messages. Anything you send us when you contact us.
We do not collect payment card details or bank details. Tokanta is currently a simulated experience and does not move real money.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account, and to send you sign-in and verification emails.
- To provide, maintain and improve the product.
- To respond to your questions and to prevent misuse or fraud.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Sign in with Google, Apple or Microsoft
If you use one of these providers, we receive only your email address, your name and your profile picture, as made available by that provider. We do not receive your password for that provider. We use this information only to create and operate your Tokanta account. The provider’s own privacy policy applies to the information they hold.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run Tokanta, and they process data only on our instructions:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Resend — delivery of sign-in and verification emails.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, security and content delivery.
- Google, Apple and Microsoft — only if you choose to sign in with them.
We may also share information where the law requires it or to protect our users and our service.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and similar storage needed to keep you signed in and keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal duties, and resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your account and the personal information linked to it at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent. To use any of these rights, email us at info@tokanta.com. If you are in the UK or EU, you can also complain to your data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and one-time codes instead of passwords. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your sign-in details to yourself.
Children
Tokanta is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as Tokanta grows. We will change the date at the top of this page, and tell you about significant changes.
